Like going down with the Titanic but saying &quot;at least the water isn&#039;t as cold as it could be this time of year.&quot; Need aware may be a benefit but not if you don&#039;t get in because of it, which I would think is most cases.  I was wondering why my son didn&#039;t get into most of the schools he applied to. True, you can explain some of that by typical reasons but not all of it. He should have been accepted as some of his schools and instead, he found himself on the waitlist or denied altogether. I think it absolutely stinks. I&#039;m afraid out relatively low EFC screwed him out of a great college experience. 
As far as need blind schools, not all are need blind no matter what they tell you.]]></description>
