Will this affect my college/university application? Yes some of it is quite severe and 2 times as well, but I have changed as a person but I am anxious if a chosen university of mine will reject me based on these past school records I had

I’ve wanted to go to NYU for years will this affect the application process and is there anyway to fix it?

There are lots of factors that VA Tech will consider. It looks like they do look at applicants’ disciplinary records and it will be factored in to their admission decision. There is no way to know whether other parts of your application will outweigh that suspension. It will help if you have no other violations and your high school counselor is able to write a good recommendation and considers that behavior to be out of character for you. And, you can also help your chances by demonstrating accountability for your actions and addressing it honestly on your application. Don’t make excuses, just demonstrate that you accept responsibility and have learned from it.
