As your college admissions advisor, College Initiative is dedicated to helping students and families navigate the college preparation and admissions process with greater clarity and confidence.

Founded in 2017, College Initiative was developed to address common challenges families face during college planning — including information overload, time constraints, and uncertainty around finding the right institutional fit. College Initiative strives to reduce stress in the admissions journey by providing practical, experience-informed guidance tailored to a wide range of student interests, academic profiles, and goals.

Having visited all kinds of college campuses – small liberal arts colleges, large public universities, private research institutions, urban campuses, rural campuses, and international universities – College Initiative can provide a balanced, student-centered perspective rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations.  The philosophy behind College Initiative is that there is no universally “best” college — only the best match for an individual student. College recommendations and guidance are designed to reflect each student’s unique academic interests, personal priorities, and learning environment preferences to help them find the right match. 

College Initiative adheres to principled standards of conduct and aligns with the ethical guidelines established by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and welcomes students and families from all backgrounds.
