Advising Services
I am currently located in the Celebration, FL area, but I can work with students anywhere in the United States.
Consultations may be done in person, online via Skype, Zoom, Facetime, or by telephone.
I offer an initial 20 minute phone consultation for free.
My goal is to make the college search and admissions process as stress-free and as straightforward as possible for you and your student. I’ll help your student present themselves in the best possible way as they apply. I offer a variety of services to fit your needs. Whether your student is a freshman or a senior, contact me!
Focus Consultation:
- Conversation with parents/student (together or separately, according to preference)
- Test planning and score review
- Transcript review and academic planning
- Extracurricular Involvement review
- Discussion of potential majors of interest, including interest surveys
- Written summary of recommendations, including: recommended course schedule, testing recommendations, how to obtain teacher recommendations, and initial college list recommendations based on above factors (list will include info about costs, size, financial aid/scholarships, interview requirements, and detailed school descriptions)
Other Services (by the hour):
(requires Focus Consultation, but price may be reduced if college list recommendations are not required)

- Activities List Review
- Essay Brainstorming and/or Review
- Interview Preparation
- Special Situations – Waitlist or Deferral guidance, school disciplinary action guidance, etc.
College Chats (Locally):
I LOVE sitting down and talking with small groups to discuss the college search and admissions experience. I can customize information to your specific group and answer individual questions. This could be a:
- neighborhood or parent group
- PTA
- school club

- Any standardized test scores – PLAN, PSAT, SAT, ACT
- High school transcript (unofficial is fine)
- List of extracurriculars/sports and any associated awards
- Any questionnaires/surveys I have previously sent
- A list of schools that are of interest (if any yet)
